What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect personal information from you so that we can provide you with a positive experience when you utilize our Sites or their Content. We only collect the minimum amount of information needed for us to fulfill our commitment to you.
By providing your personal information to us, you are affirming that you are giving it to us voluntarily, and that by providing this information, you are giving consent for us to use, collect and process this Personal Data.
You retain the right to opt-out or submit a request for us to delete your Personal Data at any time by contacting us at mjm-admin@protonmail.com.
Should you choose not to provide us with certain basic Personal Data, you may not be able to participate in certain segments of our Sites of Content.
Anonymous Data Collection and Use
To maintain our Sites’ high quality, we may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the Sites by identifying which areas of the Sites are most heavily used, and to display content according to your preferences. Your IP address is the number assigned to computers connected to the Internet. This is essentially ‘traffic data’, which cannot personally identify you, but is helpful to us for marketing purposes and for improving our services. Traffic data collection does not follow a user’s activities on any other websites in any way. Anonymous traffic data may also be shared with business partners and advertisers on an aggregate basis.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
